I'd like to recommend the AIS judges handbook for discussion and
clarification on form. Line drawings help define the different flower forms of TBs on
page 61. Most classes have the drawing. Also, drawings for branching.
The handbook is designed for judges but it answers so many questions for
hybridizers and others that it really should be in the library of all iris
buffs, and especially those that wish to hybridize. It also lists the
requirements for garden awards in each class. Garden judging is what determines most
AIS awards. (HM, AM, Dykes, etc.)
A really good buy. Available for $15 at the Storefront. _AIS: AIS
Storefront_ (http://www.irises.org/storefront.htm)

If you don't cross them, you can't plant them!
