   POPCORN is listed in the 1979 AIS Checklist as a white self with yellow
hafts, 13 inches tall SDB.  Ben Hager introduced it in 1977.  The Checklist
does not mention foliage.  Since I do not grow POPCORN, I cannot tell you
if it is purple based or not.
