There has been a lot of discussion off and on in this forum about trial
gardens and display gardens at national & regional conventions.  There
are usually/always several  review articles that discuss convention
display gardens in the AIS Bulletin.  The current Region 7 Bulletin (I
noticed from the post asking about regional bulletins that ours is the
only one with a name! - the Irisarian) is mostly devoted to reviews by
Region 7 members of the national convention display gardens.

The HIPS (worldiris.com) website has a list of historical iris display
