Patrick, good luck on your societies' first sale!  If I might offer a bit of 
advice, learned through the experience of trying to smooth ruffled feathers 
of disappointed prospective iris purchasers, advertise the sale hours as "8 
a.m. to 2 p.m., or until sold out".
