Joy Flint is in zone 8 Canadian rating which may be a bit higher in USA terms.  You can find it on any of the USA zone charts as it is next to USA border at North west corner of continental USA. And it's no mistake I did say zone 8. Most of the costal region of Canada's west cost is 7 but the southernmost areas is 8 in a few places and Victoria is one of them. The rest of Canadian gardeners just drool. There is a show called Canadian Gardening which is now in just reruns,   and they would show their daffodils in bloom in at his time of the year.

Sigh, then there is the rest of us Canadians
