HYB: germination - phooey

One of the big disadvantages to all the extra handling of seeds and seedlings any other way than planting outdoors in the fall is the increased opportunity for errors in labeling, spilling, etc, not to mention lugging pots around.

Minor disaster here was a reminder - stack of flats of 4 inch pots slid sideways, dumping contents of at least a dozen pots. I'm not expecting many more seedlings to come up from these, fortunately. But will now have a(nother) batch of unlabeled seedlings to contend with.
