I would like to say thank-you all for the very warm reception you have given me. I have
received much welcomed information from many of you all ready. I also feel as though
there is a second language I need to learn now! I am very grateful I found "IRIS-L@RT66.COM"
Looking forward to all the postings.

Thanks Arnold!!
I tried to e-mail the same response to Teresa last evening, but mine
didn't go through. I am new to cyberspace. For 3 years, I have
purchased premium rhizomes at the local Iris Society sales in the San
Jose, CA area. Many of my favorites come from the "grab bags" 12 for
$5. (all labeled). So if you want to acquire a lot of rhizomes on a
budget, this is the way to go.
I also get great tips from the members at the sales. Will probably join
one of the societies soon.

My Sunset zone is 15, not sure of my USDA zone.
Los Gatos (Santa Cruz Mountain foothills)--lots of leaf spot with
55" of rain since November.

I also am struggling to get all the postings read, but am getting quite
a bit of benifit from them.
