1998 IRIS PRICE LIST

We are looking forward to a memorable iris season. The American Iris Society
convention is being held in Denver, and our garden will be visited by hundreds
of iris experts and hobbyists on June 4, 5 & 6. We are also excited by our
hybridizing program. Three of our iris creations have now been registered
with the American Iris Society, and one or more of them will probably be
introduced for sale in 1999. Several of our seedlings (unintroduced hybrids)
have already won awards. We are always eager to show the seedlings to
visitors.

You are invited to visit the garden during bloom season, usually late May to
early June. Please call to be sure someone will be home.

Irises will be ready at the end of July. You may pick up your plants or
pay $4 to have them mailed. Unless you indicate a preference for a refund,
substitution will be made for unavailable varieties with plant(s) equal to at
least twice the value of the ordered variety. Generous extras are included
with every order. NO ORDERS CAN BE ACCEPTED AFTER JULY 20.

ARILBRED IRIS
Perhaps our favorite iris are the gorgeous arilbreds, descended from species
native to the deserts of the Middle East. The drawing by Tom Tadfor Little on
the front of this list is of an aril iris. Our large collection will be
contributed to the Aril Society International this year to be sold through
their fabulous annual plant sale. To participate in the plant sale, to
receive the beautiful and informative yearbook and to get periodical
newsletters, join the Aril Society International by sending $10 to
Reita Jordan, 3500 Avenida Charada NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
