If you are sending multiple submissions of the same article, tell all editors
involved that you are sending the article to others.  AIS does not/did not
want to be embarrassed by having the same article come out in another
publication simultaneously.  Once it has been published then it can be run as
a reprint.  Ask them to write and tell you if they decide not to run it so
that you can send it somewhere else.  Although AIS doesn't pay for articles,
the same basic courtesies hold true as with magazines.

Of course, you can rearrange the information, rewrite and refocus it, and have
a different article.
