Thanks Janos & Loic.

I looked at maps and it looks in addition to being quite a bit colder than here, Bratislava is in the floodplain of the Danube, which might have some moderating influence on erratic temperature changes.

But Slovakia is mid-continent, & with the Danube so close, there is maybe fog and lots of dew, so ....

Maybe I should try some of these ;-)
