Interesting fellow. Quite a good hybridizer. Provo, Utah. 

Forgive me if I'm not in a typing-a-narrative frame of mind, but the salients
can be found on p. 95ff of The World of Irises. 

And I might say that anyone who is interested in Tell's irises or irises of
the Muhlstein vintage--a great vintage--might want to pick up a copy of the
facsimile of his invaluable 1951 Tell's Iris Garden Catalog and Hybridizer's
Handbook while it is still available from HIPS. It is a notably interesting
