Re: CAT: Stockton, et al. kudos

From: Diana Winship <mikesmom@ix.netcom.com>

Abe Fuerstein took Stockton Gardens over with the death of Jim
McWhirter, and by me, has been wonderful. He always supplies lots of
extras and top quality rhizomes.

George, Margaret, & Mike Sutton are some of the nicest people you will
ever meet. They are enthusiastic about irises and every aspect of them.
You always in for a real treat (or should I say drooling) if you see
them at the Conventions. George always has a handful of seedling
pictures that everyone wants to see and order.

As for Superstition, these are two funny & enjoyable men at any time.
They make it seem as though they've known you for years, and look
forward to seeing you personally at each Convention.

One overlooked hybridizer and grower that should never be passed over
though is TB's Place owned and operated solely by Tom Burseen. This is
one of those "gentle giants". A personal tragedy kept him from finally
attending a convention last year, but, he will meet with his own tragedy
if he misses this years. The Oklahoman's won't allow him to miss theirs,
and neither will Dallas. If you get an opportunity to order from him, do
so. You won't be disappointed. His garden will be on the Dallas Pre
Convention tour this coming April.

70's and gloriously sunny.
