AIS Web Page update

From: Scott Aitken <zebra@chcs.com>

Hi all,

The AIS web page has just been updated. There are no major changes at this
update. There is a new look with better interface for users of frames
compatible browsers (such as Netscape Navigator 2.0+). There are a
smattering of grammatical and spelling corrections, and corrections to some
medal names on the photo page.

In the near future, there will be a section on popular iris (the
symposium), and more photos. Further in the future will be a calendar of
upcoming national conventions (section conventions too), and yet more

Also under consideration is advertising. A couple of people have expressed
interest in advertising on the AIS web page. Similar to the 1" x 6" ads you
see on Yahoo, I suppose. This would help support the cost of maintaining
the site. If you have any strong feelings for or against, please let me
know (please send comments direct to my email rather than cluttering up
this list with it -- advertising is sort of off topic).
