Friends, please let's hang this up, OK? When I wrote about "blaming
the cultivar", my intention was neither to "lecture" nor "yell" at
anyone on this list, simply to make an observation about human nature
and judging irises. I explained that clearly, with an apology to any
or all who may have taken my remarks personally.

I am hurt by the lack of grace with which my apology was received.
Let's move on.
