Strange spots on leaves

Hi again everyone. Here in the land of wet, wet, wet... (northern Indiana) I
have noticed something this year that I've never seen before. All of a
sudden my iris leaves are scattered with small round brown dots, like the
size of BBs. Anyone know what this could be, and should I be concerned? If
it's something that is only cosmetic, it doesn't matter, since nobody but me
is looking at them up close. But if it's something that could damage them,
the I will worry!
