     I wish to express my appreciation for John's efforts here too.  He has
done a great deed for us all.

     On most days, the evenings, from about 7:00 PM to dark is the best
time for weeding here.  By that time, the sea breeze front has moved
through moderating the temperatures some.  But still, 25 record highs
(number varies some according to source) this month!!!
