Iris borer

Time for some silly questions.

Could somebody tell me what an iris borer turns into? Is it a moth, a beetle
or something else?

Also what is a space ager? I've found sky hook (we had a very way out rock
band of that name here in the 70's) listed in catalogs here but no photos.
Are there any photos of space agers on the web?
