Re: Convention: no room at the inn

Hi, group, this is a belated forward of a message I tried to post a few days
ago. So I can't spell iris-l@rt66.com. If this computer was really smart,
it would have known what I meant.

>Many, many thanks to Shirlee Lewis for posting the number for the Denver
>Tech Center Motel 6. I have been registered for the convention, but when
>came to reserving a motel room, I, uh, procrastinated. I think I wasn't
>sure I could afford a room at the Marriot and was reluctant to advertise
>a roommate (I snore), so I was rather relieved to find out I couldn't get
>anyway. I called the Motel 6 and was reassured by the nice lady that yes,
>they still have lots of rooms available, and did I want smoking or
>nonsmoking? So if you're going to the convention and still don't have a
>place to stay, the phone number is (one last time): (303) 790-8220, and
>it's the Motel 6, South Tech Center.
>Thank you, Shirlee!
>Barb Mann in Santa Fe
>Zone 5, AIS region 23, and all like that
