Welcome Brad,

Speaking for myself, I enjoy questions from beginners
and people without specific knowledge of irises.  They have fresh
eyes and outlooks.  They come with their questions unburdened
by things I may think I know, but nearly always cause me to
question the why of doing things in a certain way.  'Course, Linda
Mann does this too and she hardly qualifies as a beginner :).
