Non-AIS Sanctioned Show

For many years, our local club's solution to the problem of unnamed or
mislabeled entries was a special section that was completely separate from the
AIS-sanctioned show. Prizes were gift certificates to be redeemed at the
club's annual rhizome sale. This put the focus on cultural success and
rewarded the effort involved in getting iris to the show, while providing a
means of educating newcomers in the niceties of grooming and the importance of
keeping track of names.
