Tibetan iris -I.decora

Sally asked about photo of Tibetan iris, and as Jan Clark pointed out
it is almost sure Iris decora .
It is a very beautiful iris with blue/violet flower, and roots like a Daylily,
I grow this Iris in top of my rockbed in full sun , and in pure sand, In this location one must not forgot to water in dry periods.
The plants I have comes from seed , which takes from 3-5 years from sowing to flowering.
It is completely hardy as to my experience, sadly the flower only last for few hours.
