Silverado & Honky Tonk Blues

Hi everyone, just home from Region 18 fall meeting and noticed the comments on these two iris and just had to reply. Silverado has always done beautiful here and increased like crazy. Most everyone that sees it wants it. But HTB is another story!!  I bought it 3 years in a row only to see it bloom and promptly die. The year it became a Dykes I decided to try once more. I bought 3 rhizomes from 3 different parts of the US, and would you believe they ALL grew and now I have a huge clump!! It is now one of my favorites.
