breaking dormancy in Amorphophallus

Dear Aroiders!

I wonder, if there is anyone who has tried to break dormancy in Amorphophallus 
spec.?

I heard, that dipping Dioscorea tubers in ethylene producing solutions will 
decrease dormancy while gibberellic acid will increase dormancy.

Does anyone have experience with something like that in Amorph. spec.???

Any comments welcome!
