Tropical aroid plant virus

My indoor growing philodendrons, anthuriums and Monstera plants have all suddenly succumb to producing small leaves that quickly become necrotic and die. Some of them were imported, but all grew beautifully for a year or two. We had a very hot sunny summer last year and after then, the plants started going wrong. Are aroild plants vulnerable to any particular viruses please and will I just have to start again?
