So, I'm back with another email at the risk of becoming a pest, but I have a request for the newbie in me if anyone is willing to accept requests from the audience for gratuitous photos! :)

It is very easy for someone new to this to find pictures of aroids online--as discussed, the social media blow up, particularly given the rise in houseplant aficionados with epidemic lockdowns, makes it very easy to see lots of simply stunning plants. However, for someone who wants to delve deeper than the stylized (& potentially digitally edited) FB & Instagram presentations, as well as the plants that are currently "on trend," I think it would be very interesting to see some photos from the collections of you, the experts, in your own homes--if you're willing to share on a personal level such as that!

I would love to see from the scientific community members, what are your personal favorite specimens in your personal collections? What about them makes them your favorite? What do your home set ups look like? I would much prefer to see how the experts are growing their collections at home as serious collectors than a lot of what gets posted online, which often feels more about the decor & the social clout than what is truly fascinating the experts here & now.

Thanks in advance for considering! I know you're all very busy, so I appreciate the time you take if you choose to oblige a curious newcomer!

These images are of a plant I collected in Korea about a decade ago: Arisaema tosaense. It grew well for me for years, producing many offsets which I gave away. In some images, you can see the offsets coming up around it, and in another image there is an Arisaema ringens coming up next to it. Anyone I gave offsets to still growing this plant?
