Re: Visiting nurseries in Florida / East Coast

Thank you for your suggestions!
SKG is always on my "go to" list. Haven't coordinated anything with Enid yet although I'd like to. Thanks for the input on Bernecker's. I have contacted them to see if they carry some certain plants.
That's funny about the hotel room. I do the same thing - but on a much larger scale. On my last trip, I had to FEDEX a dozen giant commercial sized containers back home because my car was full inside, and on top. Good times! It definitely keeps us busy when we get back home with them, right? :)
I welcome more suggestions!
I'm not sure if I will make it in time for the IAS show.
Best, Jude

I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one who, on the last day of their vacation, spent the evening preparing their plant/seeds for the trip home.

On one of my Florida trips, I was traveling by airplane, and I ended up bare-rooting the plants in my motel room - I was lucky that the folks at the motel were willing to take the garbage bags of potting soil I left with them.  I think I had two suitcases of bare-rooted wrapped aroids that I took home - and was pleasantly surprised how many survived the trip and my re-potting.

Hope you have a great trip!
