Maranta - BLACK ?

Afternoon guys and gals,
While not an aroid, I recall a discussion many years ago on a plant forum concerning the "black" Prayer Plant.
Is anybody on here familiar with the plant in question?
I now collect Marantaceae, as well as aroids, of course, and would love more information that might lead to tracking one down.
