Title: RE: [Aroid-l] Dr. Guanghua Zhu
Dear Ray:
Thank you for your kind words. Guanghua touched so many people that I was unaware of. Since he was one of my only two Ph.D. students we had a special relationship but it was more like father & son, than major professor and student. We intend to have a special issue of the Annals of the Missouri Botanical Garden devoted to him and his work.
All the best!
Tom

I too am saddened by the news. Guanghua was exceedingly helpful in
compiling the first comprehensive Arisaema species list for AEG. He was a
delight to work with and very knowledgeable. We'll miss his influence in
the Flora of China project, but be ever thankful for his accomplishment to
date.
