Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Thanks!

On behalf of myself, my wife Janice, our children Brad, Stephanie and Kari as well as all eight of our grand children including Jeffery, Justin, Emma, Jordan, Sophia, Ella, Hayes and Nash we wanted to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or whatever your preference for celebration is this time of year!  Janice and I have been blessed to have so many great friends and many of them are among the members of the International Aroid Society.  Personaly, I have been very privileged to meet so many of you via email and as a result have friends all over the world.  I really enjoy hearing from you!

If you are a member of the IAS you will soon be receiving the December issue of the IAS Newsletter.  Just today, I had the chance to review the issue and I trust all of you will find the articles of value.  For those that write for and create our newsletter as well as our annual issue of Aroideana, my thanks for all your work.  The IAS is an all volunteer organization and without your our work would not be done! 

For all of you that have shared information with me this past year about your plants, your interest in growing aroids and especially scientific information that I have been able to use on our www.ExoticRainforest.com website my sincere thanks.  We wish all of you the very best this holiday season and hope to have many of you as guests in our home during the next year.  Our small rain forest under glass is open to all of you at any time.

If we have not been able to tempt you in the past year to sign up as an IAS member, now would be a great time to give yourself a membership as a Christmas gift.  Just visit the IAS website www.Aroid.org and join.  If you have a friend that is not a member, the annual membership fee is a very reasonably priced gift that will be remembered for the next 12 months.
