Re: lowered membership fee

Aroiders,

Since Lester for some reason doesn't receive copies of his own posts to Aroid-L (I'm looking into that) and so can't be sure his posts have gone out, he's allowed me to clarify that we're talking about International Aroid Society (IAS) membership here. I'm sure current IAS members have figured that out, but it may be puzzling to those who just hang out here on Aroid-L but are not IAS members. Which is fine, you're welcome on Aroid-L whether you join the IAS or not, but as a member for many years myself I recommend it to all aroid lovers - especially at the new, lower, price!

We do not have access to PayPal programming, and so initiating this new fee required cancelling all automated PayPal renewals. Otherwise, PayPal would have automatically renewed your subscription at the previous higher rate. 

Please note, if you clicked the “Subscribe” option in past, it has been cancelled and your membership will expire at the end of the final paid year. You may either click on the “renew” option annually or you may click on the “subscribe” option to add a year to your subscription at the newly lowered.
