Hi All,
Dave Horak from BBG has checked the metal tag on the Anthurium in question and found it labeled simply Anthurium with an acquisition date of 2002. He does recall that around that time, they acquired for display purposes several plants of Anthurium "Ruffles" - as I have suggested, these cultivated plants of "Ruffles" resemble A. plowmanii, all seem to have robust red berries (unlike A. hookeri) and the fact that BBG did not label it as to species, might indicate that it is indeed one of the nefarious "Ruffles" https://www.exoticrainforest.com/Anthurium%20hookeri%20pc.html
unless it could be keyed out specifically to A. plowmanii as Dr. Croat has suggested, which also does in fact also have red berries.
Identification resolved somewhat?
Michael

I'm posting this for Tsuh Yang, who is unable to post at the moment. Can anyone help ID this anthurium (photo attached) which he saw at the Brooklyn BG?
Thanks ...
