Hello to the smartest Aroiders I know. 

I need some information on this philodendron.  A friend of mine is downsizing his collection drastically.  I purchased a couple of plants from him and when I got there he gave this one to me as he wanted it to go to someone who would truly appreciate it.  He said it is an actual rare plant.  I know that term gets thrown around a lot and doesn't mean anything anymore, but I'm wondering as  I can't find a single reference to this plant via Mr. GooglePants.  Ya, I know - true research requires a library, but I'm not working on another master's thesis. :)

So, very smart people, can you provide any information on my new Philodendron Fendens?
