I checked in the University of South Florida' Atlas of Vascular Plants and both species are valid with P. saggitifolia'  having a larger "hood". There very good illustrations for both species. Go to www.plantatlas.usf.edu/

P. virginica was all I could find, too.
Go to www.froogle.com and type it in, or just type in Peltandra, and you will find some places selling it.
