Hi Robert,
I don't know about Aroids, but there are lots of plants that are hardy in colder climates that won't grow in warmer climates. I moved from WI to TN and can no longer grow birch trees, Prunus maackii, rhubarb....also several fruiting trees that need a certain number of cold hours. I wonder what Aroids live in the coldest climate.
