The nose knows: 'Stinkiest' flower on display

The latest update from Quail at 760-436-3036 x6 says "The bloom of the corpse flower is in decline, however the flower has not collapsed. The corpse flower is still very interesting so please come and see."
One could take along rotting hamburger left out of the refrigerator for at least a week, and smeared with limburger, in a sealed baggie and bring it along and sniff it while looking at the flower in order to replicate the experience, if one is too late to smell the real thing.
