Hello aroiders,
The Amo. titanum bloom at the University of Connecticut is in the process of
opening right now. If you're close enough to visit, we plan on letting
people in to see it 24 hours a day, for as long as it lasts (until Thurs.
morning?). The spathe is now funnel-shaped, not yet pealed back all the
way, but the smell is pretty appalling. "Badly maintained outhouse" is the
closest I've been able to come up with.
