Re: Unknown Meconostigma: Philodendron williamsii?

Yeah, I regretted sending that out as "P. williamsii" the moment i hit the submit button - i just wanted to "entice" people  ;-)

The reason I was thinking it might not be P. stenolobum is that the stem morphology does not seem to match my idea of what P. stenolobum usually has: very short internodes.

For example:

But the pic of that aroid in the National Aquarium is so bad that this particular morphology might just be obscured (although the anterior division seems to betray it as P. stenolobum)....

If anyone is in that area, they can find it in the National Aquarium in Baltimore, MD.
