In his paper/publication "A taxonomic revision of the Pentandrous species of Aristolochia" by Howard Wm. Pfeifer, 1970, U. of Connecticut Publication series, there are several species shown in line drawings which look somewhat like the photos. This one, from Baja California seems most like the bloom in the photos, but one can not be certain from just looking at a line drawing---A.monticola Brandg. 1916. Pfeifer also has a complicated key to species which incorporates the entire plant/leaves/stems.

Does anyone know what specie this is?
