Reverting Alocasias

I should have known no one would know anything without a picture; gone are the days when detailed descriptions meant something. So, here is a picture of the Alocasia cv. I previously requested ID for. I think it may be A. macrorrhizos 'Violacea', but I would like a second opinion.
I submit this also as an interesting example of reversion. You can see the plant in the right background is very dark purple on leaves and petioles; the plant in center foreground shows a "broken" pattern, partly dark purple, partly green with light violet mottling; and the one in the left background in fully reverted to the green, mottled form. On the other side of this outdoor structure, all the plants are the green type, and so are the ones I was gifted from division of this planting.
