Re: [Aroid-l] Anthurium superbum; Natural pollinators



Beside the ants that are drawn to our Anthurium spathes, we have Fruit fly that appear in the late afternoon to do their 'dance' on the spadix.
 
In an attempt to get seed I also use my fingers, but I really think my pollination luck has all to do with a little help from my little friends.
 
I attached an image of one of our A. veithchii being pollinated.
