Re: FW: Flower or leaf?

Yup, That's pumice. I use a mix that's 2 parts washed pumice and one part commercial potting mix

Bill, you have the greenest thumb!
No idea whatsoever on Trudy, but I wanted to ask if that was pumice in the pot, or really, really big pieces of perlite?
Thanks
Susan

I have attached two photos of 'Trudy the Titan' taken about a week apart.
Trudy bloomed in 2005, rested a year, put out a leaf in 2007 and now has a
'bud' coming up. We weighed the corm and it came in at 59.1 pounds.

Any ideas, suggestions or bets whether it is a leaf or a bloom?

Bill
