Mine barely smell at all, even when I practically touch it with my nose, it has an odd smell but not the dead animal Aroid smell . I rarely get seed or offsets. I put these two plants close together in hopes for a better outcome this year, also gave them a little finger job. I have 2 choices in my yard- full shade/ burning afternoon sun, and full burning sun that almost melts pots. ( we live in the forest on a rocky area with no soil). They’re in the former and seem happy.

When I grew this species, I was only ever able to get offsets, never any seed. When I saw it growing in Chile it was just blooming, so I never saw the infructescence.Happy days,ChristopherOn Thu, 1 Jun 2023 at 08:55, Don Martinson <l*@wi.rr.com> wrote:As long as we’re discussing Synandrispadix, are two clones required for pollination? I get blooms, but apparently they’re on birth control._______________________________________________Don MartinsonMilwaukee.WIOn Jun 1, 2023, at 8:33 AM, D. It's on a moderately high-light table, with Eulophia petersii (which is
in bud) and Vanilla chamiisonis (which will be soon). But I could give
it a little more. How much light can these take?
