My S. vermitoxicus has a weak scent, along the lines of Susan's and
Steve's description. I've never found it strong--my larger plant from
two from three seeds presumably siblings has four blooms now as shown on
my 3 May image, just closing. I did apparently get viable seed two
years ago as a seedling sprouted in my nearby A. bulbifer pot!
