Actually any browser such as Internet Explorer opens .gif's. Just select File, Open and select the file to open it.

Grower Leland Miyano in Hawaii sent me these photos.  He is hoping for an ID.  If you recognize either please let me know.  I'm told #1 may be Alocasia rugosa?  For #2 he says the color is very dark, almost black.  I'm in hopes Peter, Alistair or others who are alocasia experts on this forum can help Leland out.  He also says they are variable.
