Greetings James,
and other forum members,
Michigan Bulb Company is owned by Gardens Alive,
Which if you perform a  Google search, you will find
owns many familiar mail order companies.
Indeed, over the last few years, there has been consolidation
in the Horticulture Industry. Not just absorbing
competitors,  but obtaining their customer base ( along with
their market share).
Often this does not make news outside the typical green industry
outlets, but for those of us who make a living in this field, it is 
very interesting to see who owns what.
With regards to the "Aroid Flower" on the Michigan Bulb web page,
your guess is as good as mine. Nice looking flower though, perhaps
a new clone ? maybe, and then again, maybe not....
