I have seen it happen to several other species of Amorphophallus and related tuber genera in the Araceae family. In fact I have observed one coloring up when
brought into the green house that hasn’t opened yet. Emily Colletti Horticulturist Research/Aroid collections Missouri Botanical Garden 4344 Shaw Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63110 314-577-9527 From: aroid-l-bounces@www.gizmoworks.com [mailto:aroid-l-bounces@www.gizmoworks.com]
On Behalf Of StroWi@t-online.de Aroiders, will a konjac flower developing in dark room (windowless cellar) lack anthocyanin and apear more or less "white"? A member of our German forum just posted picture of such flower.... I asked if the plant was gown in cellar - that was confirmed... Did anyone else make this observation? Happy growing, Bernhard.
