Friends:
As I've been looking through some sites which sell aroids, I've seen some plants listed that look quite similar, but they have at least three different genera names - I've seen them listed as either homalomena or schismatoglottis, and in one case "Apoballis
acuminatissima 'Lavallaei'"
They are also called either "Red Sword" or "Purple Sword".
Does anyone know if these are all the same plant? If so, what's the proper genera and species name? If they are different, what are the differences?
I realize that when people sell plants, they aren't always good about getting the names correct - I thought I'd just see if anyone on this list knew anything about the plant.
Thanks in advance!
