I don't remember getting leaves longer than 12 inches. The foliage still had good color at that size. Brian, where did you get the story of three foot leaves? It was in the collection at Fantastic Gardens when I started working there in 1972. Exotica claims it was introduced by Bob Wilson.
Ron
Many years ago... Fantastic Gardens in Miami had it with foliage that was at least 12 inches long... I saw it... Possibly, Ron Weeks can verify this. DeweyI'VE HAD THAT PHILODENDRON FOR OVER 20 YEARS. I'VE NEVER HAD IT ET BIGGER THAN 3 TO 4 INCHES LONG NOR HAVE I EVER SEEN IT IN BOTANIC GARDENS LARGER.
