Re: [Aroid-l] Which Arum ?

Hi Ron,

Here is a photo of it during the show. But it was labeled 'Picta'. Is it safe to call it p. variifolium now?

Steve,
We found it in NE Ecuador nearly into Columbia. Leaves were 18" long and did not loose the silver color. It is a jewel. I have flowered it but pollination failed. Charlie McDaniel sold totem of it at the aroid show last year. More should be available this year for those who missed it.

Does anyone know anything about Philodendron variifolium? I've got a couple of these but information, other than it is a native of Peru, is hard to find.
