Re: Red spots on Alocasia reginula stems

Greetings Magdalena,
  Are the Red dots part of the stem (?) are they moving ? I’m not familiar with “dots” on the stems. 
  You see red mites on Alocasia periodically. 
Did you Take a look with a hand lens or magnifying glass?
   Depending upon where you are, mites are out and about. Gardners are seeing them now here in the upper Midwest ( U.S.A. ) this time of year.
